I’ve just completed the new ebook, UFO Hot-Spots in the Western United States.  After months of exhausting research the document has grown to over sixty pages and covers classic and obscure UFO sightings in the 17 western states.  It is illustrated with my photos, photo-illustrations, historic photos and images of some of the UFO hot-spots.  For now the ebook is available from Scribid.com http://www.scribd.com/doc/30401502/UFO-Hot-Spots and can be downloaded as a Word or PDF file for $12.99.  As soon as we update the Home Page of this website, it will be available here too.

 

Over the years as I have created photo-illustrations of UFO sightings, I have had to do extensive research to find and learn about these locations and then go there to either search the skies for unidentified flying objects or photograph the area to use as backgrounds for later photo-illustrations.   Because I had a good start amassing this list of hot-spots I felt it might be useful to others to compile the information and make it available in one place.  Anyone interested in searching for UFOs can certainly do their own research on the internet, but if you purchase UFO Hot-Spots in the Western United States the research is done for you and you will saved a lot of time. 

 

The introduction to UFO Hot-Spots in the Western United States has brief information on night photography and how to photograph objects in the night skies and where to report your sighting, if you have one.

 

Although it’s included in the book, it’s worth mentioning again that, in general, law enforcement in Post 9/11 America views photographers as terrorists.  As a professional photographer I can’t count the number of times I’ve been hassled by law enforcement for merely taking a picture.  Although photography still remains a legal activity, much of law enforcement does not see it that way.  If you are out at night searching for UFOs it’s extremely important to obey all laws and do not trespass.  It is unfortunate that law enforcement will treat you as a suspect but that’s life in modern America.  Be aware!
